Preview of Supreme Court: Proposition 8 proponents made federal judge’s decision easy

I wrote the following article on August 5, 2010. Two and a half years later, the Supreme Court of the United States will finally hear oral arguments tomorrow. I wanted to re-post this piece as a background on the federal court’s ruling that struck down Proposition 8 – a law made by the voters of California to amend the state’s constitution that same-sex marriage is illegal.

The road to 2012: What does the Obama-remorse Democrat do with Bachmann’s Ames win?

As the Republicans enter the race for 2012, the smart ones must take off their blinders and go for Democrats who refuse to vote for Obama in 2012. There are plenty of us, from left-of-center to flaming liberal, who are just as unemployed and disappointed in Obama. There are plenty of us who are open to voting for a Republican, so long as the candidate is willing to meet us in the middle on some issues.

Obama’s brilliant two-tiered method for convicting terrorists & thwarting future terrorist attacks

How do we catch a terrorist, score intelligence and secure a conviction? Enter the case against Ahmed Warsame: the Obama administration’s new approach to terrorism.

The first terrorist trial on American soil was a slim victory. U.S. Embassy terrorist Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani was charge with 285 crimes but found guilty of just one: conspiracy. Prior to trial, the judge ruled that federal prosecutors could not call their key witness because of interrogation issues. We cannot risk losing trials and letting terrorists free because the of illegal interrogations.

Mike Tyson tattoo artist’s lawsuit against Warner Bros. is as silly as the tattoo itself

Mike Tyson’s fancy face-tattoo artist, S. Victor Whitmill, filed a coppyright lawsuit against Warner Bros. for its use of his “art” on one of the lead characters in The Hangover II. Whitmill doesn’t only want lots of dough from Warner Bros.; he also wants the court to grant an injunction, preventing the movie’s release to over 3600 theaters on 7000 screens over Memorial Day weekend.

Media Matters attempts to slam Tamara: “Fox Legal Analyst Goes To Birther Fringe With Speculation About Obama’s Paternity”

Fox Legal Analyst Goes To Birther Fringe With Speculation About Obama’s Paternity
Terry Krepel of Media Matters wrote this gem about me:

On the April 26 edition of Fox News’ Hannity, “Great American Panel” member Tamara Holder — a Fox News legal analyst — went deep into birther territory during Sean Hannity’s nightly birther devotional. Holder stated, “I would say that maybe there’s something on there that he doesn’t want people to know.” When Hannity asked what that might be, Holder responded, “Like who his father is. Maybe that the father isn’t listed on the birth certificate. That is my only idea.”
